A couple more Christmas Cards

I thought I would try something new. Last year I purchased a kit from Nitwit Collections called Joyful Hearts so all items used were from the kit. The first card I made on the computer, printed it out and taped it to my card front. The second one, I put the papers and the ribbon together on the computer but printed the santa and the tree separately and then cut them out and put them on my card. I'm not sure if I would like to continue doing this style of card as I really like coloring my own images. Anyway it was worth a try and the first card would be very easy to mass produce. Not sure what it would cost in ink on the printer though. I forgot to mention that I used diamond glaze glitter on the santa hat and trim on his coat.

Christmas Card

Here is one of my Christmas Cards. Unfortunately the quality of the picture isn't the best and the sentiment doesn't show up very well in it. I have a few of my christmas cards done but still have many more to do.

Christmas Cards

Here are a couple of Christmas Cards that I made last weekend. The first one I cased from here flowersparkle. I just love snowmen so this card really appealed to me.

The second card is clean and simple but I find it very appealing. I used my cuttlebug to emboss the card front and stamped the inkadinkadoo image on to white cardstock with stazon ink I then coloured the image slightly with chalk, then used my versamark pad to cover the image and embossed with sparkly embossing powder.

I hope you enjoy looking at my creations.

More Cards to Show

Here are two more cards to show you. The first one is one I made for a wedding we attended in August. I have seen similar cards on other blogs so took the idea from those. I am really happy with how this one turned out.

The second card is one that I made for my mother-in-law's birthday in August. The image is a digi image from Isabella's Sketchbook.

I hope you enjoy viewing my creations.

I'm Back!!!

It has been so long since I posted, I don't remember how. I was just starting to feel comfortable with blogging and now I have to learn all over again.

Anyway, as usual I am always behind on making cards (and lots of other things for that matter) so I know there are a few that have been sent out without me taking pictures. Here are a couple of cards I made for birthdays using Digistamp Boutique digi images.

I will try to add more cards that I have made over the next day or so and I will try to update my blog on a more regular basis.

I hope you all have a great week!

New Cards

I have two cards to show today, the first one is a card I made for a challenge put on by my local scrapbook store "Got Scraps". We were given the cardstock, design paper, buttons and ribbons and it was up to us to create. I used an image from Squigglefly called Shy Bear, flowers from Fred She Said and the sentiment is Stampin Up.

The second one is a card I have made quickly to send out today. The cardstock is Stampin Up, digital image is from Digi Stamp Boutique, flower, Fred She Said, Ribbon down the left from my stash, Punch and Sentiment from Stampin Up. Sorry for the quality of the picture but it is quite dull around here this morning and I have to get it in the mail so I can't wait for better light.

Hope you like my cards.

Looking forward to Mexico

Just wanted to say Happy New Year to anyone who visits my blog. Now that Christmas and New Years are over the next thing to look forward to is our trip to Mexico at the beginning of March. I found this free blog background from www.thecutestblogontheblock.com so I just had to add it to my blog. Now that the holidays are over I hope to be able to make a few more cards to add to my blog.
