Birthday Card using Sea of Textures

Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Canada

Today I am sharing a Birthday Card I recently made using the Sea of Textures Stamp Set. I had a lot of fun stamping and die cutting to create this card.

Here are the instructions:

Card base balmy blue cut at 8 ½ x 5½ scored at 4 ¼.
Blueberry bushel layer cut at 4 x 5 ¼.
Whisper White layer cut at 3 ¾ x 5.

On to this layer stamp the sentiment from the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set in blueberry bushel ink in the top right corner.

Stamp the texture stamp from Sea of Textures across the centre of the cardstock in smoky slate ink.

Stamp coral and tall leaf in calypso coral and tranquil tide on the bottom left and right corners.

Lightly sponge the background with blueberry bushel ink.
Stamp octopus on scrap whisper white using blueberry bushel ink on the top half of the stamp and gorgeous grape ink on the bottom half to get the two colour look.

Stamp the coral that can be die cut onto a scrap piece of whisper white using mint macaron ink.
Diecut the stamped octopus, and the stamped coral image and diecut the other coral dies from tranquil tide and lemon lime twist cardstock.

Diecut the net from crumb cake cardstock.

Diecut the sand dollars, two larger ones from crumb cake and calypso coral and the smaller one from grapefruit grove cardstocks. I only used the centre star shapes.

Diecut the little fish from grapefruit grove and daffodil delight cardstock.
Assemble the card as shown using multi purpose glue.
