Here is a picture of the inside of the card.  I used the butterfly punch and punched out one of the butterflies that was at the edge of the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper.  This paper is in the Sale-a-bration brochure and you can choose it for free with a $60 (before shipping and taxes) purchase.

Flourish thinlits, Stitched Labels framelits and Stitched All Around Stamp Set

Hi today I am showing a card I created using the Flourish thinlets, Stitched Label framelits and Stitched All Around Stamp Set.

I haven't used the Flourish thinlets very much so thought it was time to take them out and have a play.  I also used the Stitched Label framelits, Stitched All Around Stamp Set, Layering  Circles framelits and one flower from the Seasonal Layers thinlets.

How I created this card:

• Rich Razzleberry Cardstock cut at 8 ½ x 5 ½ scored at 4 ¼.
• Mossy Meadow Cardstock cut at 4 x 5 ¼.
• Very Vanilla Cardstock cut at 3 ¾ x 5 - I used the background framelit from the Stitched Label framelits to add some interest to the layer.  Attach ribbon to the bottom of the card, unfortunately I used Berry Burst Metallic Edged Ribbon (I thought it was Rich Razzleberry) I should have used the Rich Razzleberry ¼ Velvet Ribbon (I do have it). 
• Layer these three layers together using snail.
• From Rich Razzleberry Cardstock I diecut the flowers from the Flourish thinlets and one from the Seasonal Layers thinlets.
• From Pear Pizzazz Cardstock I diecut two leaves and one small flower using the Flourish thinlets.
• From Mossy Meadow I diecut the small flower, one leaf and one berry leaf using the Flourish thinlets.
• On Very Vanilla Cardstock I stamped a sentiment from the Stitched All Around Stamp Set using Pear Pizzazz ink and cut this out using a framelit from the Stitched Label framelits.
• From Pear Pizzazz Cardstock I die cut a scalloped circle from the Layering Circles framelits.  Attached the stamped sentiment to the scalloped circle.
• Assemble the flowers by layering and attaching leaves.  Glue them down to the card using Multi Purpose Glue.  The largest flower and the sentiment were popped up on dimensionals.
• Rhinestones were added to the centre of the flowers.

Team Challenge - Chop It - Create It

Hi there, I have been working on setting up this blog to share my Stampin' Up! creations and this is my first post.  

As part of the Happy Stampers team we were given supplies from our team leader Sandi to create a card for the Chop It - Create It Challenge and here is what I came up with.

• Card base is Very Vanilla cardstock cut at 8 ½" x 5 ½" scored at 4 ¼"
• Blackberry Bliss Cardstock |Layer attached with Snail adhesive is cut at 4" x 5 ¼"
• Nature's Poem Designer Series Paper cut at 3 ½" x 4 ¾".  Another strip of Nature's Poem Designer Series Paper cut at ½" x 4 ¾", centred and attached with snail adhesive.  On top of this strip I used the linen thread wrapped it around 3 times and then I tied a bow and attached this with a glue dot.  This layer was then attached to the Blackberry Bliss cardstock.
• I then used the Stitched Square framelits and die cut Blackberry Bliss Cardstock with the largest Stitched Square die.  Onto Very Vanilla Cardstock I stamped the sentiment which is from the Detailed with Love Stamp Set in Fresh Fig Ink,  This was then die cut with the second largest Stitched Square framelit - with the Detailed Trio Punch I then punched out the design in the four corners.  Under the Very Vanilla Cardstock I taped a piece of Copper Foil Sheet so that it would show through.  This was then glued down to the Blackberry Bliss square and added to the card with dimensionals.  
• To finish off I attached some copper sequins with glue dots.
