Mosaic Mood Specialty DSP Cards

Here are two cards I made with the Mosaic Mood Specialty DSP.  I fussy cut the hummingbirds, butterfly and flowers to make my cards.

I used both Blushing Bride and Soft Suede cardstock for my card bases and these were cut at 8 ½ x 5½ and scored at 4¼.

The next layers, one in Blushing Bride and the other in Soft Suede cardstock were cut at 4 x 5¼.  

The Very Vanilla Layers were both cut at 3¾ x 5 and both were embossed using the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.  The layers were attached using Snail adhesive.

I fussy cut the hummingbirds, butterfly and flowers.  The flowers and butterfly were glued down using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  The hummingbirds were attached using both sizes of Dimensionals.

The Happy Anniversary sentiment is from the retired Best Birds Stamp set and was stamped using Soft Suede Ink and diecut using one of the dies from the Stitched Labels Dies.

The Birthday Wishes sentiment is from the Varied Vases Stamp set and was stamped using Soft Suede Ink and diecut using the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  

Hearts were diecut using Blushing Bride cardstock and the Stitched Be Mine Dies.  These were attached with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and a Rhinestone was placed in the centre of each.

Here is a Fall themed Anniversary card I recently made using the Seasonal Layers Thinlets.

Instructions:

• Rich Razzleberry Card Base cut at 8 ½ x 5 ½ scored at 4 ¼
• Crushed Curry Layer cut at 4 x 5 ¼
• Very Vanilla Cardstock cut at 3 ¾ x 5
• Using scrunched up cling film tapped on to the ink pad create the background using crushed curry, pumpkin pie and rich razzleberry inks. I also used the dots from the Painted Harvest stamp set and stamped a few using the rich razzleberry ink pad.
• Die cut the maple leaf outline from the Seasonal Layers Thinlets using pumpkin pie and rich razzleberry card stock
• Glue the maple leafs onto the vanilla card stock layer using tombow multi purpose glue.
• Cut a piece of rich razzleberry cardstock 1 x 3 ¾ and place across the centre of the card
• Stamp the Happy Anniversary sentiment from the Best Birds stamp set on to very vanilla cardstock and die cut using the layering ovals die.
• Die cut a larger layering oval from pumpkin pie cardstock and layer together.
• Cut a piece of burlap ribbon and glue to the rich razzleberry layer using snail.
• Using dimensionals place the sentiment on top of the burlap ribbon.
• Finish off by adding 3 black faceted dots on the sentiment piece.

Tropical Chic Anniversary Card

The Tropical Chic Bundle is one of my favourites from the Annual Catalogue.  Here is a card I recently made for an Anniversary.

Instructions for this card:

• Thick Whisper White Cardstock cut at 8½ x 5 ½ scored at 4 ¼
• Granny Apple Green Cardstock cut at 4 x 5 ¼
• Blushing Bride Cardstock cut at 3 ¾ x 5 and embossed using the Petal Burst Embossing Folder
• Using Happy Anniversary sentiment from Best Birds Stamp set stamp on Whisper White Cardstock using Shaded Spruce Stamp Pad
• Using Big Shot and Stitched Oval Framelit cut out the sentiment
• Using Big Shot and Tropical Thinlet Dies cut out fern and leaf in both Granny Apple Green and Shaded Spruce Cardstock\
• Stamp a leaf using the Tropical Chic Stamp Set using Granny Apple Green and cut out on the Big Shot with the co-ordinating die.
• Stamp the flower from the Tropical Chic Stamp Set 3 times using Blushing Bride, Flirty Flamingo and for the third flower use Blushing Bride and sponge the edges with Flirty Flamingo.  Cut out using Big Shot and co-ordinating die
• Add a strip of the Granny Apple Green Ribbon down the left side of the Blushing Bride layer and then assemble the card as illustrated using Snail Adhesive and Liquid Multi Purpose Glue. 

I am looking forward to creating more cards with the Tropical Chic Stamp Set as I have been seeing some amazing cards on Pinterest using this set.
