Enjoy Life Birthday Card

For my card today I used the Enjoy Life Stamp set and the Detailed with Love Stamp set for the sentiment. I saw a card on Pinterest recently, not sure where now, but it appealed to me so thought I would give it a try.  Many thanks to the original creator.

Here is how I created my card:

• Daffodil Delight cardstock cut at 8 ½" x 11" scored at 4 ¼"
• Basic Black cardstock cut at 3 ¾" x 5"
• Watercolour cardstock cut at 4 ¾" x 3½"
• For the background on the watercolour paper I used ink colours Flirty Flamingo and Daffodil Delight
• Used the Stamparatus to stamp the grass, cyclist and sentiment in Memento Black, stamping a few times due to the paper being textured.  This is where the stamparatus is a great tool.
• I then put all my layers together, using the tear and tape on the Watercolour paper layer to give it a good hold.

I like to keep my cards to minimum supplies wherever I can, as I know it is difficult when you are just starting out and have limited supplies.  This card will be on its' way to the UK in the next few days.

I made this card the other day with the intention of entering the Happy Stamper's Blog Hop and then I forgot to let Sandi know that I was going to join in.  Summer is a very busy time and my day can go in many directions 😞

This is how I made my card.

• Started with a piece of thick whisper white cardstock cut at 8 ½" x 5½" scored at 4¼".
• Cut a piece of Blushing Bride cardstock at 4" x 5¼" then ran it through the Big Shot with the Oh My Stars Embossing Folder.
• Cut a piece of the 2018-2020 In Colour Designer Series Paper in Lovely Lipstick at 3" x 3¾" and hand cut the bottom edge into a banner.
• Cut a piece of Basic Black cardstock at 3¼" x 4" and cut the bottom edge into a banner to act as a mat for the DSP.
• With the Big Shot I die cut a piece of Blushing Bridge cardstock with the  2¾" Layering Circles Scalloped Die and then a piece of Lovely Lipstick cardstock with the 2½" Layering Circles Scalloped Die.
• The sentiment is from the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set and I stamped it using the Lovely Lipstick Ink Pad.  This was then die cut using a Stitched Framelits Circle Die.
• The three circles were attached together using either snail or multi purpose glue.
• I placed some ⅜" Silver Metallic Edge Ribbon on the card before attaching the sentiment with dimensionals.
• To finish it off I added 3 Clear Rhinestones to give it a little more sparkle.

Birthday Card for a Friend

A friend recently had a birthday and this is the card that I gave to her.  We love to get together for coffee and have a chit chat.  This is actually the first time that I have used this stamp and die set and I had fun making it.

Here is how I made it:

• Card base is Lemon Lime Twist cut at  8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
• Fresh fig layer cut at 4 x 5 1/4
• Blushing bride layer cut at 3 3/4 x 5 and run through the big shot with the embossing folder Simple Stripes used one way then turn the paper and run through again.
• Stamped the coffee cup twice on whisper white in soft suede, stamped the sentiment in fresh fig then die cut them both.
• The lids are stamped in crumb cake and then die cut.
• Coffee beans stamped in soft suede and die cut.
• The coffee cup holder is die cut in crumb cake and the 'Hi" sentiment is stamped on whisper white cardstock using fresh fig ink pad and die cut with the oval die in the set.
• The little heart is stamped in Berry Burst and die cut.
• The card was put together using snail adhesive and dimensionals.
