Forever Lovely Stamp Set & Lovely Flowers Edgelits Dies
Forever Lovely Card

Today I am joining in a joint blog hop of the Happy Inkin' Team and the Happy Stampers Team.

This week we have a choice of this sketch

this colour challenge

or both.  I chose to use both on my card today.

The Forever Lovely Card below uses the Forever Lovely Bundle from the 2019 Occasions Catalogue.

Stampin' Up! Forever Lovely Stamp Set and Lovely Flowers Dies
Forever Lovely Card

Here is how I created my card:
  • Flirty Flamingo cardstock cut at 8½ x 5½, scored at 4¼
  • Basic Black Layer cut at 4 x 5¼
  • Polka Dot Paper from the Botanical Butterflies Designer Series Paper cut at 3¾ x 5
  • Adhere these 3 layers together using snail adhesive
  • Mango Melody cardstock die cut with the new Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies - size 1¾ x 3¾
  • Whisper White cardstock cut at 2½ x 3½ and on one end cut into a banner
  • On a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock stamp the flower from the Forever Lovely Stamp Set 3 times using Flirty Flamingo Ink.  On one of them stamp off on a scrap piece of paper to make it a little lighter.  Die cut with the matching die from the Lovely Flowers Edgelits Dies
  • On a scrap piece of Old Olive cardstock stamp the leaf from the Forever Lovely Stamp Set twice using Old Olive Ink and die cut with the matching die from the Lovely Flowers Edgelits Dies.  Diecut three other leaf shapes from the die set as shown in the picture below.
Here is a close up picture of the flowers and leaves:

  • On the Whisper White Banner stamp the sentiment from the Forever Lovely Stamp Set using Flirty Flamingo Ink.  Use a sponge and lightly sponge around the edges of the banner to make it stand out.  Attach the banner to the Mango Melody Rectangle with Liquid Multipurpose Glue.
  • Arrange the flowers and leaves and attach with liquid glue to the banner in the top left corner and then attach the banner to the card with dimensionals
  • If you wish you can add rhinestones to the centre of the three flowers.
