Birds & Branches Birthday Card

Hello Stampin' friends, today I have a card to show you that I made using the Birds & Branches stamp set.  Unfortunately I had to fussy cut the birds, eggs and nest as I somehow forgot to order the bundle.  The dies should be arriving tomorrow.

1. Card base - thick whisper white cut at 8 ½ x 5 ½ and scored at 4 ¼.
2. First layer - pool party cut at 4 x 5¼.
3. Second layer - regular whisper white cut at 3 ¾ x 5 - stamp the branch using soft suede ink and the leaves using garden green ink and then emboss using the new Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder (love it).
4. On whisper white stamp the nest using soft suede ink and the birds using soft suede and cajun craze.  The stamps for the birds are two step, I stamped the background and then stamped the detail.  The eggs were stamped with seaside spray ink.  (These were the items I had to fussy cut as I didn't have the dies).
5. I stamped the sentiment on a piece of whisper white cardstock using the Happy Birthday from the Blossoms in Bloom stamp set.  I then stamped the word 'Dad' using letters from the Make a Difference stamp set (ink Soft Suede).  I then die cut it with one of the Stitched So Sweetly scalloped rectangle dies.
6. I also die cut a larger scalloped rectangle die out of pool party and layered that with the sentiment rectangle.
7. I used the Multipurpose Liquid Glue to attach everything to the card.
